For Project 030, we selected Laurent by Saloni, a porcelain collection inspired by the iconic Nero Saint Laurent marble. With its deep black background and elegant white and copper-toned veining, Laurent immediately brings strength, sophistication and character into any interior space.

In contemporary architecture, dark materials are increasingly used to create spaces with a more refined and timeless atmosphere. However, achieving the right balance is essential. Laurent manages to combine the visual impact of natural marble with a clean and elegant aesthetic that feels modern without becoming excessive.

For the bathrooms in Project 030, the material was applied across the walls to create a seamless and immersive effect. The continuity of the large-format porcelain pieces enhances the architectural feeling of the spaces while reducing visual interruptions and creating a much more exclusive atmosphere.

One of the most important aspects of this design was the combination of materials and lighting. The contrast between the dark porcelain surfaces, the warm walnut cabinetry and the brushed bronze fittings creates a very balanced composition — sophisticated yet welcoming at the same time.

Indirect LED lighting integrated into the niches and mirrors was carefully designed to highlight the richness of the veining and bring depth to the material throughout the space. Depending on the light and the angle, Laurent continuously changes its appearance, revealing subtle copper reflections and textures that make every bathroom feel unique.
