To create the SIGNATURE line of projects we have been inspired by The Case Study Houses experimental movement ran in 1945 in California, US. The modern and efficient designs of this iconic architecture has inspired GRUPO TURIS PROMOCIONES to build a series of houses. The aim of this project was to create something unique and full of life.
Our reflections are built around the dialogue established between territory, its qualities and human potential itself, in order to find a deeper relationship between the site and the individual. That is why we believe in the value of good architecture, unique and personalised, with a high knowledge and respect for our profession and with an unconditional passion for our native land. Driven and dedicated, we are committed to creating spaces where emotion and life, weaved together with the material world, truly gain meaning.
The dialogue with the client is a fundamental pillar of work, and therefore we approach each new project individually. Our clients participate and follow us in each step of the way, paying special attention to each one of their demands.
Our goal is not just mere architecture, but to go a step further; creating clear and surprising spaces that do not leave one indifferent, transmitting certain values with the aim of inspiring an emotional response beyond plain aesthetics and functionality. We propose to create pure architecture in which the smallest detail has a meaning and where connection is established with the enviroment, undisguised and generous, enhancing it and extracting all of its virtues.
That is why our projects reject banal and impersonal architecture, alienated from its surroundings, imposing itself on the landscape instead of blending in. We opt for a deeply rooted architecture which fits in its surrounding and, at the same time, a type of architecture linked to contemporary and current lifestyles. In the SIGNATURE Case Study Houses, quality combines two factors: on one hand, a deep technological knowledge and, on the other hand, an eminently practical side, one of habitability.
